i have to say i wasn't
expecting much
from pittsburgh, pa.
but my former lack of expectation
has now been laid
aside.
it was a busy day with radio interviews
pre-show so i wasn't
left with much time to explore,
but the views i got through the windows of the bus
were enough for me to see to
know there was something very unique about
this town.
a city amidst beautiful rolling green hills is
what i found.
sadly, my photos are minimal but
hopefully one day soon i will be back here
on some other tour and get
the chance to capture a few for you!
i woke up to this sight.
it doesn't look so amazing with the big dirt lot in the
foreground,
but the city skyline with the bright
yellow bridge
somehow just kinda made my day.
once again the show was in a church.
the difference here was this place
no longer functioned as a church whereas
in philly it was
still used for sunday services
for the first unitarian
congregation.
apparently though, pittsburgh has more than one
place of business that
is run from a former church, now converted.
inside you can see how they've changed it up
a bit from its former self.
and this was soundcheck.
cool stage, huh!
and this is the street that ran right in front
of the venue.
you can catch a glimpse of those
rolling green hills
in the back ground.
and i must comment on the brick road.
amazing, isn't it!
my favorite moment of the day
was walking out on the back patio of the green room
to find the full family in
karate gi
practicing their kicks and moves!
even junie got her own little
gi to feel a part
of the fun.
